Are you up for a challenge?

Are you missing your running, walking or cycling buddies?

Livewell is encouraging our team, partners, volunteers and clients to take part in a virtual relay – something we can all be part of remotely whilst creating a sense of togetherness.

All you need to do is take a selfie/photo of yourself on your daily walk, jog or bike ride with a comedy baton, yes you heard correct – a funny object – a loo roll, banana, toothbrush – be creative!  We ask you to keep to the 2m social distance rule and only take part on your own or with people in your household.

Email your pics and brief info about your relay stage (your route, how far you covered, how you felt, what you saw) to [email protected] and we’ll post them on our Facebook and Twitter pages or feel free to comment/reply to our posts.

Livewell Customer and Marketing Coordinator, Kellie is kick starting the challenge with her soapy baton as part of her early morning jog around quiet paths of her local parks – Darley and Markeaton.  She loves this peaceful time of day greeting the odd dog walker, hearing the birds singing, watching squirrels chasing and taking in the stunning park scenery with new Spring growth.

Kellie said: “It’s a great time to contemplate, reflect and forget our worries.”
