We all know that walking is fantastic for our physical and mental wellbeing.  Walking briskly most days can also boost your fitness, burn calories and help you lose weight.  In addition it can also reduce your risks of developing health problems like type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease and stroke.

So why not make April the month to walk your way to a healthier and happier you?  The challenge starts on Monday 1 April and runs until Sunday 28 April 2024 for four weeks.

How it works

There are four levels to choose from so you can select the step challenge that’s right for you. We’ve broken the month into weekly step counts so it’s achievable and puts you in control:

Level 1 = 35,000 steps a week

Level 2 = 50,000 steps a week

Level 3 = 75,000 steps a week

Level 4 = 100,000 steps a week

To help you count those steps, download our helpful chart.

The Livewell team will support you every step of the way – through motivational social media posts and encouraging messages.
