Livewell is supporting a new ‘Walking for Lung Health’ walk for people in Derby living with a lung condition. Established by the British Lung Foundation and Ramblers Walking for Health, the group meets at the University of Derby (Kedleston Road) every Wednesday at 1.30pm and you can bring your friends, family and carers. Most important, taking part is free!

The group in Derby is run by Dr Mark Faghy, a trained volunteer and lecturer at the University of Derby. It aims to give people living with a lung condition a fun and sociable way to stay active. It’s important for people with lung conditions, to be regularly physically active as it can improve breathing and quality of life.

If you have a lung condition and are interested in attending the walk, please contact: Dr Mark Faghy 01332 592109 or email [email protected]

Livewell runs a wide range of free led walks that are open to everyone!  For a full list, visit the Walk Well website.
