Advisor Casey has recently returned to Derby, taking a new role with Livewell. As a keen traveller, she is also passionate about keeping active, eating well and helping others lead a healthier lifestyle. Casey hopes to bring her professional dance experience to her role, so watch this space for some dance inspired fitness sessions!

I have always led an active lifestyle, being part of a swimming club growing up and then going on to train to be a professional dancer. Due to my own personal health problems, I developed an interest in nutrition and studied it, so I understand the importance of healthy eating as well as physical activity.
As a Livewell advisor I will be helping people to change their lives for the better, whether it be losing weight, stopping smoking or getting active. I am particularly excited to bring some of my dance experience to the role and can’t wait to get stuck in!

I love pasta dishes and a cheeky dessert.
I love to dance and do it everywhere! I also enjoy going on walks, reading, getting stuck into a good series, travelling (really want to do a road trip around America at some point) and spending lots of time making memories with my family and friends after being away from Derby for around 7 years.
My best achievement
Moving to Crete to dance for 6 months was an incredible experience that I will never forget. Landing this job and embarking on a career change is something else I know I will enjoy.
What you might be surprised to hear about me
That I have moved around a lot and lived in 15 different homes, 5 different cities and 2 countries. Some day in the far future I would like to live by the sea as I find it so peaceful.
My top lifestyle tips
When exercising do something you enjoy as it makes it fun and you are more likely to stick to it.
Even 10 minutes of exercise every day is better than none - household chores also account.
Go get active with a friend/family as it spurs you on more.
Try a new recipe once a month to bring variety to your meals.
Everything in moderation - a balance is key to being healthy and enjoying life.
