Experience

I have a Level 3 Personal Training qualification and have worked in the fitness Industry for over a decade, helping people to achieve their health and fitness goals. I have also been delivering group exercise classes and weight loss seminars in the various facilities I have worked in. With my knowledge, experience and passion for health and wellbeing, my aim is helping people achieve their best.

Job role

Working as a Livewell Advisor, I will be helping people to make sustainable changes to their lifestyle, whether that is becoming more physically active, making better food choices or stopping smoking. I hope to help people in a holistic way to better their wellbeing as a whole, and hope my experience so far will be of value to the people I work with!

My passion has always been in staying active and going to the gym. I find that this benefits not only my physical health but my mental health too. I am also a massive fan of technology, films and gaming.

What you might be surprised to hear about me

I have a cocker spaniel called Whinnie, after Whinnie the Pooh and a black cat called Spartacus, after the gladiator. Very random names but I thought it was fitting for how they look and their characters. They get along very well together.

When making lifestyle changes I personally believe enjoyment is the key to success.  There are so many different ways we can adapt our diet and move our bodies – trial and error can be a great way to find the food and activities that suit you!
